British Airways are to fly to Majorca and Ibiza during winter, as well as summer.
The twice weekly flights will run on Thursdays and Sundays throughout the year. BA are the first airline to offer winter flights direct to the Balearic Island of Ibiza.
Setting off from London, the winter-sun flights to Majorca will travel direct to the Island's capital, Palma.
Luke Hayhoe, general manager commercial of BA CityFlyer, said: "Leisure flying is a really important part of our business now from London City. Winter sun breaks are a very popular market and with London City's unique 20 minute check-in time with luggage customers can leave the gloom of winter and be in the sun in less than three hours."
