Baby-friendly holiday cottages launch

Friday, 2 March 2012 9:59 AM

More than 200 baby and toddler friendly cottages have been added to the holiday home portfolio of cottages4you.

The specialist collection, which has been designed with new parents and young families in mind, features family basics in all the cottages - including cots, high chairs and baby baths. There will also be extras to make family life easier - from black out blinds and children’s crockery to sterilisers and nightlights.

Safety considerations are a major factor of the properties. Safe, enclosed gardens or play areas plus features including safety gates, fireguards and socket protectors, all come as standard.

There is even useful information on hand including the best child-friendly places to eat, top local playgrounds and attractions plus even the nearest doctor, to give parents complete peace of mind and help them give their tots a holiday to remember.

Nick Rudge, from cottages4you, said: “Holidays as new parents can be daunting, which is why we have developed this specialist range of cottages. We want to help remove the stress that comes with holidaying with little ones, by not only providing all the essential facilities young families need, but also giving them the flexibility to follow established routines.

"We’ve certainly seen an increase in demand for baby and toddler friendly properties, with bookings up by 13 per cent this year alone, so we’re really excited about this new range. We feel we have developed an unrivalled selection of properties to help little ones enjoy their first staycation.”

The range includes properties in Devon, Wales and Yorkshire. Prices for a typical five bed cottage begin at around £20.39 per person, per night.
