Fascination with the original blonde bombshell Marylin Monroe remains, even after all these years, so for those wanting to see where it all began, The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in LA – which Marilyn called home for two years – is a good place to start with the hotel’s newly launched Marilyn Monroe Romance package.

The hotel’s ‘Marilyn Monroe Suite’ – named in honour of its most iconic guest – exudes glamour and charm, making it clear to see why this was Monroe’s favourite room of the hotel. The 750 square foot space overlooks the famous Tropicana Pool – where Marilyn posed for one of her first modelling shoots - from a large wrap around balcony which is accessible through a large sliding glass door, giving the room an indoor/outdoor resort feel.

The presence of Monroe’s history is evident with a back-lit photo of the Hollywood star mounted on the wall and guests can feel like they are walking in the footsteps of one of the most iconic and fascinating women in history.

Available now until December 31st 2012, the package includes vintage Marilyn movies for guest’s viewing pleasure along with unlimited in-room movie access and a bottle of bubbly and chocolate truffles.
